Pack 28 Online

 Our Pack consists of boys and families from northern Cecil County in Rising Sun, Maryland. We are a chartered organization of the American Legion Post 194 of Rising Sun, Maryland. The Pack is part of the Octoraro District of Chester County Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Pack and Den meetings are held regularly, please check the calendar for dates,locations, and times.(see  Calendar). 

  Cub Scouts are a year-round program designed for boys ages 6 through 10.  The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development, citizenship training and physical fitness.  Boys begin as Tiger Cubs in the First Grade and then move into the Wolf and Bear Cub Scout programs (second and third grade). Webelos Scouts (fourth and fifth grade) is the next program, preparing boys to transition into Boy Scouts.  

  Cub Scouts are all part of a Pack, which meets under the direction of a Cubmaster, Den Leaders and other adult volunteers.  At pack meetings, boys participate in games, educational activities and group recognition. The Pack conducts frequent field trips to various places of interest, participates in Camps and other Scout gatherings.
