Webelos Scouts are Cub Scouts in 4th grade. The name “Webelos” stands for “WE’ll BE LOyal Scouts.” This rank is all about learning new skills and preparing for the final Arrow of Light year.
What Webelos Scouts Do:
Learn Outdoor Skills – camping, cooking outdoors, fire safety, and using tools safely.
Develop Leadership – helping guide their den and practicing responsibility.
Build Confidence – working on personal fitness, citizenship, and teamwork.
Explore Interests – trying out different adventure activities that match their skills and hobbies.
Serve Others – continuing service projects to help the community.
Special Highlights:
Webelos work on adventure pins instead of loops, which bring them closer to Scouts BSA skills.
Webelos Scouts focus on growing stronger, learning new skills, and getting ready for the exciting challenges of Arrow of Light and beyond.
